  5. What is GrayAMP Playlist Converter?
  6.  
  7. This little Stupid Project of the Day (SPOD) converts exported MACAST (MacAMP) playlists to GrayAMP playlists. It will not convert normal MACAST playlists, they must be exported via the 'Export Playlist' menu option.

  9. Instructions
  10.  
  11. 1. Open MACAST, and the playlist you wish to convert.
  12. 2. Goto File:Export Playlist, and then 'Export to Text File...', save.
  13.  
  14. 3. Open GrayAMP Playlist Converter
  15. 4. Select 'Convert Exported Playlist' from the File Menu
  16.     -Select the exported file from above
  17.     -Save new playlist
  18.  
  19. Know Issues
  20.  
  21. MACAST's exported playlist format is not the best. It contains the full pathnames of the songs (ex. Macintosh HD:MP3s:Song.mp3) followed by a Return. So if in the path of your MP3, there is a Return in a folder name, this will confuse GrayAMP Playlist Converter. This is rare, but still possible.
